Cricket (2010).zip This is the big one, the original file. It contains the HD content plus all the information you can find online, including installation notes. The installation itself is quite tricky and requires some special tools to extract it. There is a pre-prepared installation script for Windows, along with the necessary tools to extract the zip file. If you are using Mac or Linux, it's a bit more complicated. But this file is the most complete you can find, and the one you should try before you buy.
Cricket (2010) Secu.rar Checked > Cricket 2010 is a modified version of Cricket 2008. It is build on top of Cricket 2008, but with new features, and lots of new content. In fact, the installation scripts do a very good job of preparing the setup, and you'll see all the things you'll miss out on, if you get the 2010 version. A few differences:
[ ] Both Amazon.com and Steam were forced to remove support for DOS and other old systems, so no Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows ME versions can be installed. And no installation is possible for other versions of Windows. The installation package is built on top of DOS 9x, and the installer will not allow you to install on a Windows version older than Windows 2000. If you want to install on Windows 95, Windows 98 or Windows ME, you can try running the installer under VirtualBox, and then transfer the virtual HDD to your target computer and install. You can find more details on how to do that on our VirtualBox guide. [ ] Loading Windows 7 installer is much faster, and loading may take less than a minute in some cases. [ ] The installer for Windows Vista will download a trial version of Windows 7, and show an option to purchase it afterwards. If you don't see it, you can choose the "Disable this notice" option to avoid seeing this message again. [ ] Windows Vista and Windows 7 will be removed from the list of supported operating systems. Other than that, this version of Cricket 2010 works very similar to the old version, and most people will be very happy.
